How a piece is made
Photograph
It starts with a single photograph — a desert formation, a storm sky, a streetlight, a dragonfly. Bradley reads patterns in nature first; about half the time he sees faces in a scene before he ever lifts the camera.
Mirror
The photograph is mirrored — up and down, left and right — in combinations Bradley chooses by eye. The mirroring itself reveals hidden faces and figures that were invisible in the original frame.
Refine
Hand-edited color and vibrancy, layer by layer. Bradley draws the viewer's eye to one area or another — saturation, focal pull, and mirrored alignment all shaped by the artist, never by an algorithm.
Masterpiece
The finished work: a frameless metal print in a numbered edition of 50 per size. What the ground shows was put there by Bradley's hand — if the ground ever looked invented, the brand would break.
In his own words
“I'm a good photographer, but a very, very good editor — color, vibrancy, and drawing the viewer's eye to one area or another.”
— Bradley Marston
Human-made, always
Bradley's work is handmade digital art. It is never AI-generated — no generative imagery, no AI motion applied to his pieces. Every shift in saturation, every mirrored alignment, every figure hiding in the frame was placed there by the artist.
